LIVONIA, MICH. – Madonna University will be hosting the Elder Abuse Has No Borders Conference in the Franciscan Center on June 15 from 8:30 am - 2:45 pm. There is a modest fee for admission ($40-45 depending on time of registration). Students and seniors are eligible for discounted registration.
Attorney General Dana Nessel will be the keynote presenter. The panel discussions will be focused on financial exploitation featuring panelists from Genisys Credit Union, Success Through Financial Empowerment, and Crime Victims Legal Assistance Program.
The three afternoon breakout sessions offer choices between speakers from Adult Protective Services, Oakland Community Mental Health Department and Forensic Nursing.
