LIVONIA, MICH. – Reynold Mirabitur graduated from Madonna University in 1983 with a dual major in criminal justice and business administration. Having served as a co-op student at U.S. Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, Mich., Mirabitur was hired by TACOM as a civilian employee right after graduation. Mirabitur devoted his entire 36-year career to TACOM, where he served in a variety of roles, from industrial specialist to contract specialist. He retired in September 2019, as a procurement analyst.

Mirabitur credits the career services coordinator, in 1980, for changing his life by encouraging him to pursue the TACOM co-op position. Her recommendation kickstarted his career in federal service.

Despite balancing full-time work commitments straight out of high school, Mirabitur embraced his studies wholeheartedly and found Madonna to be a perfect fit. He is grateful for the enriching experiences that shaped his academic journey. Professors such as Robert Smith, Alan Eichmann, Sheila Domaini, and Dr. Landow stand out in his memory for their guidance and mentorship.
