With a student body comprised of 60 percent women, Madonna is uniquely positioned to prepare women for leadership roles in the community.
While the number of women in leadership roles in government, commerce and education has improved, women still are underrepresented at leadership levels. Oftentimes, financial crises keep women from achieving a Madonna degree and, in-turn, career success and financial independence.
The Leadership Fund for Women can help address these issues. A network of women leaders at Madonna and in the community have joined together to assist Mrs. Grandillo in raising funds for the endowment that will support the next generation of ceiling-breakers as mentors, employers and colleagues.
Your support will help provide the following leadership development opportunities to female students at Madonna.
Initially, we hope to raise $100,000 to endow the Leadership Fund for Women. An anonymous donor has agreed to match any pledge for the Fund up to $100,000.
With your support, we can continue to provide young women at Madonna the resources that will empower them to persevere in gaining the skills and knowledge that will change lives in many wonderful ways.
