A testament to our commitment to making quality private education accessible to students from all backgrounds. We understand that the cost of college can feel overwhelming, and financing your education shouldn't be a barrier to pursuing your dreams. That's why Madonna offers a comprehensive approach to affordability, combining institutional scholarships and grants with federal and state aid programs to create personalized financial aid packages that work for you. As an added value, all textbooks and required course materials are included in your tuition, eliminating surprise expenses and helping you budget more effectively for your education.
Madonna University offers merit scholarships, GPA-based awards, that all students are automatically considered for. Whether you're coming to Madonna directly from high school or transferring from another college, your GPA determines your annual award. Merit scholarships begin at $4,000 annually for students with an unweighted GPA of 2.5 and increase to $14,000 annually for students with an unweighted GPA of 3.8. Madonna remains test-optional, meaning we don't require students to submit ACT or SAT scores. However, students coming directly from high school who submit their test scores may qualify for an increased merit award. Terms, conditions, and additional details are available on our Scholarships page.
Incoming students who attend an eligible campus visit (such as an open house or official campus tour) and apply for admission between August 1 - January 31 are eligible for our $2,000 annual visit scholarship, renewable for up to four years, totaling $8,000. Terms, conditions, and registration links for qualifying visits are available on our Visit Scholarship webpage.
Affiliation awards recognize ties to our broader community and academic success. We also offer scholarships for full-time employees of Felician-Sponsored ministries and their dependents, extending support to those connected to our ministry partners.
Newly admitted, full-time undergraduate students who live in Michigan, receive the full Federal Pell Grant and the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA are eligible for the Commitment to Affordable Learning award. Recipients will have no additional out-of-pocket expenses for the cost of tuition at Madonna University. Additional details, terms, and conditions are available on the Commitment to Affordable Learning webpage.
Through our partnerships with local communities, we offer Promise programs that can significantly reduce your educational costs. These collaborative initiatives demonstrate our commitment to making higher education accessible to students throughout Michigan.
Many Madonna students qualify for federal and state aid programs, such as the Federal Pell Grant, Michigan Achievement Scholarship, and Federal Work-Study. Your eligibility for these programs is determined entirely by your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and is based on federal and state criteria. Madonna University does not control or influence your qualification for these awards.
In addition to financial aid, Madonna provides on-campus employment opportunities for all students. These positions are available regardless of your financial aid status and offer valuable work experience while helping you earn money while earning your degree. Students who qualify for Federal Work-Study are particularly encouraged to apply, though eligibility for campus employment extends to all enrolled students.
Beyond traditional financial aid, Madonna University offers exclusive scholarship opportunities that celebrate student involvement and leadership. Through programs like the Mosaic Leadership Academy, athletics, performing arts, and our Student Ambassador program, students earn substantial financial awards while pursuing their passions and developing valuable skills. These selective scholarships reward your dedication and talent, making your active participation in campus life both personally fulfilling and financially beneficial.
