Is there a HOLD on my account?

Sign into MY Portal to view any holds

1. From the "Home" or "Students" tab, go to "Course Search"
2. If there are holds on your account, you will see them listed under the "Current Term"
3. Go to "Add/Drop Courses"
4. "Holds" will be listed below the "Term" selection
5. Expand each hold by clicking the "+" icon next to each one for information on who to contact

How does a HOLD affect my registration or diploma?

Registration: Holds prevent students from registering or adding courses, regardless of the hold. Contact the issuing department issuing for a resolution before attempting to register for classes.

Diploma: Only holds related to financial debt prevent us from releasing a diploma. Contact Student Financial Services (sfs@madonna.edu) to resolve the hold.

How do I find my official grades for a semester?

Official grades are available online through your MY Portal account.

Sign into MY Portal

1. Go to the "Students" tab.
2. Click "Course Information" in the left panel.
3. Click on the "My Grades" link from the Course Information list.
4. Select the appropriate term from the drop-down menu and click on "View Final Grade Report."

How do I print my unofficial transcript?

An unofficial transcript is available online through your MY Portal account.

Sign into MY Portal 

1. Go to the 'Students' tab
2. Click on ‘Course Information’ in the left panel
3. Click on the ‘Unofficial Transcript' link from the Course Information list.

When will I receive my diploma or certificate?

Watch your MU email account. Within 1-3 weeks after the end of the semester, you will receive a notice from our diploma vendor, Parchment, that your diploma is ready. Parchment will ask you to confirm your mailing address and keep you informed of the estimated delivery time.
