How do I purchase academic honor cords based on Grade Point Average?

Degrees with Distinction

Academic honors are available to students receiving a bachelor's degree, and are based on the student's cumulative GPA at Madonna University as of December 31, 2025 for the purposes of the May 2026 graduation activities. Honor cords can be purchased at the Spirit Store starting the first week in April, upon the verification of cumulative GPA.

Honor cords must be purchased though the Spirit Store - cords that are not Madonna approved will not be permitted.

Degrees with distinction are based on the following grade point averages:

1HONR	With Honors	3.5 - 3.669
2HONR	With High Honors	3.7 - 3.899
3HONR	With Highest Honors	3.9 - 4.0

How do I get honor cords for my honor society?

Class Rings can be ordered through Jostens. Questions about ordering from Jostens should be directed to Customer Service or by calling Madonna's Jostens Sales Representative at 800-854-7464.
