LIVONIA, MICH.The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) honored Logos Communications with two Clarion awards for excellence in the field of communications. The public relations and marketing firm is owned and operated by President Sue Voyles, Madonna class of '86, English and journalism.

Logos Communications won the awards in the categories of Graphic Design for the logo for Mariella’s Custom Drapery, and Public Relations Campaign for the 100th birthday of Dorothy Zehnder of Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn.

Last year, Voyles was selected as the ‘Headliner,’ the top award for an AWC member. Because of the pandemic, she was recognized on Friday, September 30, 2022, for being a member who has consistently excelled in the communications industry.

“The national AWC Headliner award goes back to 1939, so I am very honored to be joining the ranks of outstanding communicators who undoubtedly blazed trails for women like me to excel in my chosen field,” Voyles said. “I am also grateful to the Logos team members who bring a vast level of experience to our clients.”

Voyles has now won 13 Clarion awards in the 23-year history of her company.
