Madonna University Students Learn from Entrepreneurs

Group of students smiling at chamber event

LIVONIA, MICH. – Last Thursday, four rising star business students, Phillips Endowed Chair for Leadership and Management Jacob Frimenko, and Karen Sanborn, Madonna's Communications Director, were guests of Jimmy John's at a Livonia Chamber event. Abbey Powell, Kellen Burke, Bobby Martin and Devon Romaniw (pictured) had the opportunity to hear from four local entrepreneurs about pursuing your dreams, starting a business with passion and a negative bank balance, being the first to market, doing what you love, and treating your employees well.

They also had a chance to network and swap business cards with Chamber President Dan West and other Chamber members, the entrepreneurs, and WWJ Radio News director Rob Davidek. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students, and they were very appreciative of the table sponsorship by Cheryl Doelker, President of JCDGroup, Inc., an independent Jimmy John's franchisee.
