LIVONIA, MICH. – Mark Lee, a business adjunct faculty member at Madonna University and CEO of The Lee Group, has been named one of Crain's Notable Black Business Leaders. The recognition honors innovative, influential, and strategic executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have made an impact in fields such as finance, technology, health care, real estate, hospitality, law, the arts, and community service.
Crain's selected the honorees based on nominations from peers, colleagues, friends, and family, and evaluated by Crain's Detroit Business editors based on career accomplishments, success, and impact.
Mark Lee leads The Lee Group, an independent marketing consulting firm that provides
training and development in branding, re-branding, communications, and professional
development. Year after year The Lee Group has recorded annual revenue growth, and
in 2024 the firm added several new clients. Its annual Small Business Workshops attract
more than 1,000 participants..
In addition to his role at Madonna University, Lee teaches marketing as an adjunct
professor at Eastern Michigan and Northwood Universities. A frequent public speaker,
panel moderator, and business coach, Lee also has contributed news columns, radio
and television programs on such topics as branding, marketing, and business.
