Thursday, November 16, 2023 - Jesse Cox, Madonna's chief diversity officer, was featured in Crain's Detroit Business Notable Leaders in DEI list for his work in enhancing DEIB campus-wide. Cox has worked to provide students with Martin Luther King Jr. Day off, create an accessibility map for differently-abled students, and advocate for a DEIB minor degree program.
Wednesday, November 15, 2023 - Saif Alsenad has been named a Trailblazer Award winner by the NAACP Western Wayne County Chapter. He is a 2015 graduate of Madonna University and is currently the Wayne County Community Relations Ombudsman for the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART). Alsenad is a shining example of how one person can make a difference in their community.
Friday, November 10, 2023 - Seven Madonna University students and their advisor spent a day at the Toledo Zoo, learning about animal care and the inner workings of a large aquarium. The tour directly contributed to the professional knowledge of the six animal studies majors who participated.

Tuesday, October 31, 2023 - An exhibit featuring Outstanding Polish Women is on display in the Welcome Center Art Gallery through Nov. 11. The exhibit was provided courtesy of the Polish Institute of Culture & Research at Orchard Lake (PICR) and was created by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington D.C.
