Madonna University to Host 2024 Elder Abuse Conference

LIVONIA, MICH. – The Coordinated Community Response Coalition (CCRC) of Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties, in partnership with Madonna University, will host the Elder Abuse Has No Borders Conference on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. 

The conference will be held at the Madonna University Welcome Center and Franciscan Center (36600 Schoolcraft Rd., Livonia, MI 48150). 

The event will feature:

  • Keynote speaker Hill Harper
  • Panel discussion on elder adult safety
  • Presentations on dementia and abuse, and the Uniform Power of Attorney Act
  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and networking opportunities
