More about Comerica Park

The ballpark features various family oriented attractions such as a large food court, a baseball themed Ferris wheel and a tiger themed carousel. Comerica Park also features a variety of retail stores with team merchandise for all ages. Comerica Park’s concourse includes a “walking museum,” which consists of monuments and memorabilia on the Tigers team history. Six of the Tigers greatest players - Willie Horton, Ty Cobb, Charlie Gehringer, Hank Greenberg, Hal Newhouser and Al Kaline – and Ernie Harwell, the legendary announcer, are memorialized in sculpture in the concourse. A gigantic water fountain in center field provides “liquid fireworks” before and after the game and when the Tigers score.

Comerica Park seating provides a spectacular view of the surrounding downtown skyline and can hold approximately 40,000 fans. Unlike other ballparks, Comerica Park offers a seating area known as the “Tiger Den,” where the seats resemble the boxes at old time baseball games.

Comerica Park is a baseball lover’s dream. With its open air views and its massive center field (420 feet), the ballpark provides each fan an outstanding view of the playing field from any seat level. Every year millions of fans visit Comerica Park to see their favorite team play and hear the roar of the tiger when the Tigers score a run.
