Whether you are a first-time online student, or you’re familiar with online classes, we provide you the tools necessary to be successful, at no additional cost. As an online student, you can expect to receive academic advising, writing support through our Writing Center, and access to our virtual Library through synchronous online communication. Help desk support is also offered through Blackboard, our online course application.
Academic Advisors and Retention Specialists assist new and current students by formulating plans to outline the academic path, monitoring academic progress, recommending opportunities for personal growth and academic development, providing referrals to necessary resources, discussing doubts and challenges with chosen majors or careers, and much more.
The bookstore is your one-stop shop for textbooks, spirit gear, supplies and more. Digital materials can be purchased, or textbooks shipped directly to you.
The IT Help Desk is a point of contact for technology support at Madonna University providing help with Blackboard, the student portal, your login, email and more. Free Blackboard workshops are also offered to online students, providing hands-on practice using the application.
Madonna University Library supports the online student’s research needs and enhances the information literacy skills of all students. The library provides students with quality resources and accessible research assistance and instruction.
We bring the Writing Center to you. Writing support is offered to our online students face-to-face by our tutors through Skype. We help you organize your ideas, write critically, catch errors and guide you through completion of your papers.
The Center for Personalized Instruction is a student-focused office where student learning is enhanced by improving student success. CPI’s mission is to cultivate a supportive learning environment by providing academic support that empowers students to become confident and successful learners. CPI offers tutoring for Madonna University undergraduate students in a variety of courses each semester at $12 per session. Tutoring involves a one-hour weekly session by appointment with a tutor who excels in a specific area of study.
