Graduates of the MSN in Nursing Administration program may elect to become certified by the ANCC as either Nurse Executive or Nurse Executive Advanced, depending on their administrative experience or the AONL as either a Nurse Manager Leader or an Executive in Nursing Practice. The program provides 420 clock hours of supervised practicum.

The MSN/MBA degree prepares students for executive-level nursing administration practice, improving population health outcomes through the integration of theory, research, clinical judgment, and inter- and intraprofessional collaboration.

Students applying to one of Madonna’s Master of Science in Nursing degrees must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a program accredited by a nursing professional accreditation agency (CCNE, CNEA, or ACEN) with an overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Shortly after graduating from our dual degree program, Denise was promoted from the role of Site Administrator for Henry Ford Medical Group to Nursing Administrator at Henry Ford Hospital, managing 18 direct reports and more than 750 indirect reports.
Denise is responsible for all of the medical general practice units as well as e 68 bed medical intensive care beds. She was a Nightingale Award nominee in 2013, and received the 2015 Shadow of a Leader award for Henry Ford Hospital.
