2016 Rummage Sale

What: 2016 Rummage Sale
When: Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7, 2016
Where: Music and Art Department Hallway (1500 Hallway)
Time: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Donations will be accepted beginning Monday, July 11, 2016
Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of law.
Please schedule a time to drop off your donations here. Follow this link to sign up to donate.

Donations will be dropped off between the Activities Center (gym) and the Music and Art Department (1500 Hallway)
(Vehicles can pull up to the sidewalk on Van De Vyer Dr. to drop off and should park in the South lot).

Suggestions for donations:
Clothes (women, men, and children)
Shoes (women, men, and children)
Toys, puzzles, stuffed animals, board games, bicycles
Tools, small kitchen appliances, dishes
Books, paperback, hardcover, textbooks, children’s books
Furniture, lamps, home décor
Linens, bed sheets, comforters, towels
Media, DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, small electronics

Volunteer opportunities are available beginning July 11, 2016 until August 10, 2016

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Receiving & sorting donations (July 11-August 5) 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Serving as a cashier at the sale (August 6- August 7) 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Acting as a bagger/loader at the sale (August 6-August 7) 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Packing post sale (August 8-August 10) 10:00 p. m. - 5:00 p.m.

Proceeds benefit Madonna University 2017 Alternative Spring Break trips.

Students are presented with an opportunity to participate in an Alternative Spring Break experience. The Alternative Spring Break takes place during spring break vacation in March.
