Franciscan Group
Franciscan Spirituality is composed of a group of students who wish to follow the example of St. Francis’s holiness with humility and joy. While most members do have a devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and a devotion to Mary, as St. Francis did, they are not required in order to participate in the group. We embrace members of all faiths who wish to learn and to live the Franciscan Values.

The group comes together once a week to learn about, reflect upon, and discuss the life of St. Francis as well as the University’s Franciscan values. We also serve in supporting the spiritual life of the university community through ecumenical and traditional Catholic practices.

Peace & Justice Group
"Yes, it is every day that the ideal of peace has to be made into a concrete reality by each one of us."
-Pope John Paul II

The mission of Peace & Justice is to work for social justice while seeking to grow spiritually through discussion, prayer, and service in order to strive for peace in ourselves, and our world. Peace and Justice sponsors an annual dance during the winter semester called the Swing for Peace. Each year the group selects an organization to support. Proceeds go toward supporting their efforts to assist the poor and needy.

Respect Life Group
Is dedicated to promoting the understanding of the sacredness of life from conception to natural death. This ideal is realized by acting on the conviction that every human life has intrinsic value. This is achieved through promoting a respect for all life on and off campus, starting with respect for ourselves and respect for others in both word and action. We do this by words of encouragement, serving the poor in mind, body and spirit, and interceding for the way that life is viewed in our country and around the world.

Some examples of past events include but are not limited to: Annual March for Life in Washington D.C., life conferences, volunteer work, peaceful rallies, and building fellowship of life in our community. In the future our goal is to expand our ministries to enhance respect for the continuum of human life. Any ideas of how we can do this are welcomed.

Tota Pulchra Group
The mission of the Madonna Tota Pulchra members is to grow in holiness by imitating the lives of the Saints and, in particular, by modeling the virtues of Our Blessed Mother, Mary. Each meeting, we look into the lives of those who have already obtained the crown of Sainthood, and strive to imitate their example by focusing on the practical application of their works and virtues in our own lives.
