As a student in Madonna's Social Work programs, you’ll get practical experience in social service settings assisting individuals, groups, families, and communities. The purpose of social work education is to prepare professionals who are committed to the enhancement of human and community well-being and to the alleviation of poverty, oppression, and social injustice. Within its general scope of concern, professional social work is practiced in a wide variety of settings.
