Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society (KDP)
Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society for educators which promotes networking, personal and professional development, as well as community involvement. Please check our bulletin board outside the College of Education office for events and updated information. Guidelines for application to the Sigma Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi at Madonna University are:
- At least 9 hours of Education courses completed at Madonna (or equivalent transfer credits) with a passing grade.
- At least a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Two letters of recommendation from Madonna University professors – we prefer at least one to be from an Education faculty member.
- Check/money order payable to Madonna University for $50.
Applications are available in the College of Education office, room 2228. Completed applications, recommendations, and check should be put in a sealed envelope and left in Ms. Diana Wilcox’s mailbox in the Education office.

Madonna Early Childhood Club (MECC)
MECC is a wonderful place to meet lots of people who share your interest in working with young children. We are a welcoming group with terrific opportunities and ideas – so check out the Early Childhood bulletin board outside of the College of Education office for upcoming events. We can promise that the experiences we plan definitely leave a lasting impression on you – ask any of the current MECC members who participated in our past events. So, come join us! Society of Future Teachers (SFT)
SFT is a group of Madonna students who are at various stages of teacher education preparation. Whether you have a newly found interest in K-12 education, or you are currently taking courses within Madonna’s College of Education, an SFT membership is an incredible career-building opportunity.
