The Nutrition and Wellness degree is designed for students who have a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics, nutrition, a life science or a physical science. You will study the latest food trends in NFS 5320 Food Behaviors and Motivations; analyze controversial food issues in NFS 5870 Sustainable Food Systems; and investigate the role of nutrition in disease prevention and health promotion in NFS 6350 Obesity and Chronic Disease. Dietitians and nutritionists are professionals who promote health and manage disease by helping clients set specific goals. As a graduate student studying nutrition, you will work one-on-one with a professor to design a unique research project to answer a research question of interest to you.
