The Biological and Health Sciences Department includes programs in Biology, Clinical Imaging Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Dietetics, Forensic Science, Nutrition & Food Service Management, and Nutritional Sciences. Students graduating with degrees in any of the majors in this department will have a strong science background. Science majors with high GPAs will be eligible for induction into Sigma Zeta, the Honor Society for Science and Mathematics Majors.
Science courses are offered in the Franciscan Center, a new science building featuring state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment where students and faculty design and carry out innovative research projects. In addition to the majors listed below, the department offers a variety of pre-professional programs.
