Early Action Admission
Policy for Master of Science in Clinical Psychology
Early Action Admission is an application option for candidates who are serious
about plans to attend a clinical psychology master's program and desire to have their files reviewed well in
advance of the anticipated Fall semester of enrollment. This option is reserved for strong candidates
who have earned a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.4 from their
bachelor's degree course work. The candidates must meet all other eligibility and application
requirements and submit all components of the application by Oct 31. Decisions regarding admission will be made by
December 15 and students will be notified immediately. Admitted students will be expected to notify
the Graduate Studies Office of their decision to accept or decline admission by

Early Action option. Applications received after October 31 will be reviewed following the regular
application schedule beginning February 1 for the Fall semester.
Review of applications begins on February 1 and continues until the limited
number of seats is filled.
Additionally, please be advised that this
Early Action option is not intended to deter students whose GPA
falls below 3.4. Admission is certainly possible for those applicants whose GPA
falls between 3.0 and 3.4.
